Since every project, client and situation is different, there can be many variations on how the process ends up. However, we summarized below the general steps to expect while working with Global Home Interior Design on an interiors project.
Throughout each stage, clear and honest communication between our team and the client is vital to insure an efficient and smooth process. We encourage an open trusting discussion during each of these phases.
SCOPE:Includes“GET TO KNOW YOU” PHONE CALL, PROJECT SITE VISIT & FOLLOW-UP MEETING
This is the foundation of the project; where the functional needs for the space are determined, the client’s preferred aesthetic, the overall budget and timeline. A preliminary design direction is discussed and an estimate of costs are presented which includes design/hourly fees, material costs, shipping & installation costs and sales tax if applicable. If all terms are agreed upon, a contract is signed.
Includes DESIGN REVEAL MEETINGS & ROAD MAP PURCHASING.
We present custom-made mood boards and design layouts with any fabric, wallpaper, paint, and/or wood samples, etc. to start with a design direction and return for follow-up meetings with increasingly more detailed plans including renderings, elevations, color pulls, fabric selections, layouts, product specifications, etc. Stage by stage, we get your approval until your vision is complete.
Includes PRODUCTION, RENOVATION (if applicable) & INSTALLATION-REVEAL
With signed approvals, we are ready to compile the selections and complete the plans, construction documents, and schedules necessary to execute the project. We act on your behalf as trusted representatives to collaborate with vendors, contractors and team members from implementation through to completion of your project.
