The Valerie Fund Designer Showhouse, NJ

We were honored to be selected as one of the designers for the showhouse benefiting The Valerie Fund in Plainfield, NJ. The Valerie Fund provides individualized care for children with life-threatening illnesses at medical centers close to home. Together with our fellow designers, we used our talents to breathe new life into an 1893 Colonial Revival house that had been badly damaged by years of neglect and Hurricane Sandy—all to help raise money for this wonderful charity.

We decided to design a home office with the idea of introducing unexpected drama into what is typically the most serious room in the home. By mixing antiques, modern shapes, and bold, unexpected colors, we created a space where big ideas can become reality. We are incredibly proud of the result.
